    Phacelia is fast and straightforward to grow in most UK conditions. It germinates quickly and flowers within 6–10 weeks of sowing, making it ideal for spring, summer, or autumn sowing.

    Germination Instructions

    • Prepare a fine seedbed in well-drained soil

    • Gently firm soil; no need to cover the seeds heavily

    • Water gently – maintain moist conditions until germination

    • Germinates within 7–15 days at 8–20°C

    • Thin to 10–15cm apart or leave dense for green manure use
